Hand the customer something they can read.
An HVAC system health report your tech fills in at the unit, on a phone, with no signal — and a branded report the homeowner keeps. It sells the capacitor you would otherwise have talked them out of noticing.
What it does on the call
Works with no signal
It is one page on the phone. No login to load, nothing to download at the unit, no spinner in a crawl space.
Grades every component
Good, serviceable, no good, or not on this unit. Pick a tune-up, a standard inspection or a full one, and say whether it is a gas furnace or a heat pump — the sheet only shows what is actually on that system.
Puts the age in front of them
Make, model, serial and year per unit, and the age works itself out. Beside it, what equipment of that type typically lasts in this climate, from US Department of Energy figures — stated as what it is, not as a prediction about their system.
Does the capacitor arithmetic
Record the rating off the can and what you measured, and the report prints the gap: 28.4 against a 35 rating is 19% below. The customer follows that instantly; a tick in a box they do not.
Readings where you want them
Amps, microfarads, line voltage, pressures, superheat and subcooling, temperature rise, CO. Optional, and blank rows never print.
A report they keep
Your logo, your licence number, saved as one file you can email. It carries its own fonts, so it looks the same in three years on a machine that has never heard of us.
What it costs
Plus $500 once to set you up: your logo and licence number on every report, the checklist trimmed to what you actually service, and an hour with your techs so it gets used instead of ignored. That is work we do before you have it, so it is paid up front.
Already on Simply Plex? You have it.
The health report is part of the platform — $40 per user per month, with dispatch, scheduling, invoicing and the field app included, and never more than $600 a month however big you get. For a smaller shop that only wants the report, this is the cheaper door: $11 a seat less, and nothing you set up here gets thrown away. Past 20 people the whole platform costs less than the report alone, so we'll put you on that instead. If you take the platform later, the $500 comes off your first year.

There is no self-serve signup, on purpose. We would rather spend half an hour getting it right for your shop than have you discover on a driveway that it asks the wrong questions.
- 1
Tell us about the shop
What you service, how many techs, which trade. A short call, not a sales demo.
- 2
We set it up
Your branding, your checklist, your wording. We walk your techs through it once.
- 3
You get your login
It is yours from then on — open it on any phone, with or without a signal.
What is not here yet. The checklist is HVAC — furnaces, heat pumps, coils, refrigerant. Plumbing and electrical versions are planned and will be built the same way. A crawl space and attic measure-up has been built and is in testing; a duct sizing tool is still only research. Neither one is finished, neither is included, and you are not paying for either — they are here so you know where this is going, not as something you are buying today.
Worth a conversation?
One report that sells one changeout pays for a year of this. Tell us about your shop and we will show you the real thing, filled in.
